First Dental Visit

Kaison was very cooperative and even enjoyed visiting the dentist today for the very first time.  We were very impressed and the dentist gave Mommy & Daddy an A+.  His teeth looked great!  His dentist office just so happens to be in a building that Daddy designed.

Kaison's Truck Themed 2nd Birthday Party

We couldn't have had a more appropriate theme for Kaison's SECOND birthday.  Anything involving trucks, wheels or cars he is into right now.  We wanted to keep it much simpler than his FIRST birthday party.  We had a few friends over and mostly family.  We also thought it would be a perfect way to announce that we were expecting another baby.  Kaison was happy to help make the announcement and wore a shirt that revealed the big news!  Thank you to everyone who celebrated with us!

Costa Rica "Babymoon"

We went to Costa Rica on August 22.  We had talked about going to Costa Rica for awhile.  We thought we better do it now, since we had a baby on the way.  We had a fantastic time.  Being pregnant didn't slow us down from swimming, zip lining, hiking waterfalls and volcanoes, kayaking, boat rides and all the other adventures we embarked on during our stay.  We were fortunate to have both our parents help out with Kaison, so we could enjoy our vacation and not have to worry about anything.  We always know he's in good hands when he is with them.  Most of the time he was too busy and having so much fun that he didn't even want to FaceTime when we called.
